Possible Code Case for N04400 Welded Pipe

Possible Code Case for N04400 Welded Pipe

(OP)
I have several heat exchangers that we are fabricating from N04400 materials.  I am wondering if there is a code case availalbe for ASME Section VIII Div. 1 that would allow us to order welded pipe.  Section II only lists the seamless.

Thanks for your help.

RE: Possible Code Case for N04400 Welded Pipe

I think N04400 you mentioned is a nickel-copper alloy (about 67% Ni-23% Cu) with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of media including sea water, hyddrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid and alkalies, yes ?
