Electrical Specification

Electrical Specification

Electrical Specification

(OP)
Hello,

I'm relatively new to this forum and there is a specification on a catalogue of a subsea connector by J+S that i am not understanding:

Operating voltages:Uo=6.9kV for 12kVAC to Uo=21kV for 36kVAC 50-60Hz

Does Uo mean the average value of the operating voltage, or am i interpreting this wrong?

Thank you all in advance

RE: Electrical Specification

6.9 kV is voltage to ground or neutral and 12 kV is voltage between phases. Same applies to 21 and 36 kV.

Half full - Half empty? I don't mind. It's what in it that counts.

Thank you Skogsgurra! I guess the term "for" in the sentence confused me a little bit.
