I need details about sizing of a MV/LV transformer room and clearances according to IEC standards.
(MV = 10KV)
plz help what is applicable standard and where can I find information

Thnks.

RE: MV/LV Transformer room

Is the transformer dry type or oil-filled transformer, is it an open type or is it metal-clad, is it connected with a switchgear or the room is destined for transformer only?
For different clearance from live parts see IEC 61936-1 ed2.0
" Power installations exceeding 1 kV a.c. - Part 1: Common rules"
http://webstore.iec.ch/webstore/webstore.nsf/Artnum_PK/44501
Minimum clearance phase-to-earth for 10 KV is 120 mm indoor and 150 mm outdoor. This is also the minimum distance
to keep from the live part to fixed barrier.
