Transformer Creepage Distance tolerance

Transformer Creepage Distance tolerance

(OP)
We are manufactures of transformer and we order bushing from bushing manufactures. I need to know manufacturing tolerance applicable for this parameter " creepage distance" . For example if we order a bushing with CD with 990mm and if we found actual measurement as 985mm, should we accept those or should we reject?

RE: Transformer Creepage Distance tolerance

Customers generally specify minimum creepage distance. Hence, there cannot be any negative tolerance. Check the customer specs.
