I assume it was some version of the Standard/Southern Building Code. But most importantly, I need to confirm the roof live load for a 4:12 slope, less than 200sf of trib area. I cannot imagine this particular loading has evolved much over the years, going back to the 2001 FBC it was 16psf, I think this is conservative for a structure built in 1993. FYI it is a typical residential roof.

a2mfk...in 1993, the City of Jacksonville was under the 1988 Standard Building Code.  If you don't have a copy, email me and I'll look up what you need.

Thanks Ron, that is what I figured, and thought you'd respond. Pretty fast for a labor day!

Headed out in a few minutes for a client meeting...Condo Board!

Also, depending on when the permit was issued in 1993, it could have been the 1991 code, but there's little difference.  City of Jacksonville was usually several years behind in adopting new editions of the SBC.

Not sure who has it worse, me or you. First some office work, then going back to the house for remodeling work. Literally it is a labor day.

Heading out to pick up all the things that didn't sell we had in our friend's Garage Sale.

Mike...any cameras or old photography equipment?  My only (well, almost) vice.
