I don't know how to verify if our flare system is on the right capacity. with an average flow rate of 100 mmscfd of gas our flare header is 40" and flare size is 30" any practical calculation I can use

I think this is not answering the question, because the link refer to flare tip calculation, but the question is about flare header sizing ...

I believe the query concerns the whole flare system from header to tip.

Maybe the API STD 521 will help you with this issue.

Our Flare is design by a company called FLARE. but my concern is why there is no blower fan. I was thinking that since it is a sweet gas it could be the reason? while the other area I work with was having  100ppm H2S... am I right
