Increasing The Dimension Line Gap Preventing Lines Crossing Features

Increasing The Dimension Line Gap Preventing Lines Crossing Features

(OP)
Using Catia V5R19, Service Pack 8, Build Number 19;

In the drawing environment, I'm inserting a Geometric Tolerance box underneath a dimension value inside vertically dimensioned lines, but the dimension lines go through the geometric tolerance box. Is there a way to increase the gap or shorten the tails on the fly, between the dimension lines to prevent features from crossing?

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

RE: Increasing The Dimension Line Gap Preventing Lines Crossing Features

you can modify the extension line gap by dragging the handles (little squares) to whereever you want them. Hold down the Ctrl key, to just move one end.

you cannot change the tails of the extension lines interactively. (your System Admin can define the default length)

you can add interuptions to an extension line (right-click on the extension line and use the contextual menu to add/delete the break)

you can turn off one or both extension lines
