ACAD 2011 Live Tracker

ACAD 2011 Live Tracker

ACAD 2011 Live Tracker

(OP)
Just started using ACAD 2011 after many years of using a much older version.  I could use some help with a highly annoying feature that I can't seem to disable.  When drawing a line, circle, etc, an on-screen feature pops up telling me distance and angle to potential end points as shown in the attached.  The constant update of this feature is not only annoying but slows the drafting process down considerably.  I've been thru the options tab, tried a few different things to disable, without success.  Is it possible to turn off this auto track feature?

Thanks,

Brent

RE: ACAD 2011 Live Tracker

Not sure about your version; however, in AutoCad LT 2010, there is a "dynamic input" button that controls this behavior.  Check your help files for "dynamic input".

Thanks hdp.

That's the most useful tip of the past week for me.

Star for you.

YES!!!  That did it.  I'm using 2011 Standard version (not LT).  Hitting F12 turns the Dynamic Input off.

Thanks.
