Abaqus simulation- problem with meshing

(OP)
Hi, I am new to this forum.  I am trying to create a finite element model of the hip joint. I have creted a hemispherical shell (which corresponds to hip socket) and I am trying to mesh it but I keep getting error messages.  I am using Abaqus student version 6.10 in my laptop, I also tried using the professional version but I keep getting the same error messages(Out of memory.  I would really appreciate some help as I am short of time.

RE: Abaqus simulation- problem with meshing

Since you used a student license I am unable to open it.  If you post images and the actual error messages we may be able to help.

My first thought is that you need more RAM on your computer or conversely a coarser mesh.

I hope this helps.
