Does anyone know New York DOT requirements for frost regarding freeze/thaw for pavement section design.  That is to say, what is the frost depth and how thick a pavement section should be (for example 1/2 or 1/3 the frost depth). Thanks

You should guess that was the first thing I did...called NY DOT.  Did not get someone on the phone at the time; that was why I posted here for help.  Thanks Mr. Cornelius!!!

Thanks Ron and Bridge.  I finnally got a geotechnical Engineer with NYSDOT on the phone to answer the question.  Nevertheless, I do appreciate your reponses, links and materials provided.
