I am interested to see if anyone on here has record of a A212 vessel failing due to brittle fracture?

RE: A212 Vessel Brittle Fracture Failures

Sounds like an interesting project; I would include A201 in your search as it is the "twin" (as in A515, A516). You can probably narrow your search by only looking  at equipment built before 1970.

Thanks Eddycurrentguy, the tank car you posted is the only case I have been able to dig up thus far.
