Dry Ice Storage Material

Dry Ice Storage Material

Dry Ice Storage Material

(OP)
I'm currently designing a box that an aerospace component will be placed in during transport. It must be kept chilled after a stress relieving heat treat process, so it will be submersed in a dry ice bath. My question is.. what material should I use? After doing a little research online, I have found that most commercial dry ice containers are made of insulating foam and some sort of polyethylene. The part is 130" in diameter and is a ring. Thanks in advance!

RE: Dry Ice Storage Material

There are many vendors of shipping containers for dry ice.  One that I'm familiar with us RNC Industries that has has controlled temperature shipping containers for most any purpose. purpose.
