simulation of a frac pump for testing

(OP)
has anyone ever designed and implemented a test rig for a frac pump to simulate the pump process at high pressure?

RE: simulation of a frac pump for testing

Would think you could use one of the hundreds of existing truck mounted rigs used to test BOP's on land rigs; you would have the pressures but not the volumes.

Is it the pump you want to see tested or the process??

RE: simulation of a frac pump for testing

just close the discharge valve on the rig until you see the discharge pressure you want.

as pointed out, you are on the vague side with your question.
