Couldn't save old versions to new

Couldn't save old versions to new

Couldn't save old versions to new

(OP)
Had a weird issue.  My session (SW2010 SP4.0) would not allow me to save or convert older files to new.  Could not be done by save-as (including "as copy") or by Task Scheduler.

Problem was finally solved by copying settings from another user.  However, we are unable to identify what setting was the culprit.  Any ideas?

RE: Couldn't save old versions to new

No idea as to the setting which could cause that, but have you tried using one of the many text comparison tools?

RE: Couldn't save old versions to new

ISTR I've seen that issue when I was running out of memory, e.g. big model, not enough ram.  Resolved with a power off restart, no change in settings.
