The owner makes a insurance claim for a sprinkler pipe failure and instead disables the system. A couple of years later the building has a fire and is totally destroyed. The owner sues the insurance company for the cost of reconstruction and the judge rules the insurance company's denial is valid.

Beautiful. It's good to see some logic in the justice system.

I hope that none of the firefighters were injured.  If so, I think that whoever made the decision to disable the sprinkler system should get some time behind bars.
