Put a single '$' in front of it as in:  $<PA66>.

thanks John, I had to put one if front of the other one also but that worked great.  I appreciate your input.
$<PA66$>

is there a place where we can find a list of this type of information?

RE: how do I use <PA66> in a text call-out

Unfortunately most of this tends to be 'tribal knowledge' and besides, with the advent of TrueType fonts in the next release of NX, many of these issues will be moot while new ones will appear so for now, I'm not going to ask that we start documenting this until after we learn what the environment is going to be like after users start moving to the new release.
