Increasing width of notch filter

Increasing width of notch filter

Increasing width of notch filter

(OP)
I am trying to filter a resonence band around 300 Hz using a notch filter. The resonance band has bandwidth of 30 Hz.
I can not afford to apply such a wide notch filter due to unwanted phase lag.
How I can proceed?
Thanks

RE: Increasing width of notch filter

Check out the cheap switched capacitor filters - you should be able to tighten down the width of the notch considerably. Be careful the component values don't get un-manageable at the low frequency of interest.
