modbus plus,Quantum and Panelmate info

(OP)
Could anyone may-be helpme as I have searched the internet
and don't find relevant info.

I have inherited a TSX Quantum 140 cpu 113 02 PLC and a
modicon panelmate plus 1000 unit with no info on any of the
two. I need to communicate between the two.

What I need is the cable pin layout for modbus plus and set-up info for the cpu and panelmate.

Thanks.

RE: modbus plus,Quantum and Panelmate info

MBP+ is 1-1 2-2 3-3
1- Gnd
2- Tx/Rx
3- Tx/Rx

MBP+ is an RS485 network so at the two farthest end there should be an 120ohm res. acress pins 2 & 3.

Use the switch setting on the back of the controler to select node adress. This is also the address for the modbuss port adress when not in the defelat mode ASCII or RTU switch.

There is nothing you need to do in the PLC.

RE: modbus plus,Quantum and Panelmate info

I have a Modicon Panelmate Plus 1000 too. Did you ever find the software to interface with this device? I have Tried Schneider they tell me its no longer available.
