Editing annotation template

Editing annotation template

(OP)
Greetings Everyone,
I am working on modifying an annotation template for hole callouts that are similar to what is standard at my company.

Looking through the template files the one that complies closet to what I need is the ansi template, but most of products here are done in metric dimensions. From reading posts on here NX will not let you use a imperial based template in a metric drawing. This being the case I am trying to modify the ansi_mm template. One of the things I am trying to change is on the thread callout. In the ansi imperial format bolt thread and depth are called out. With the metric version it is just the thread.

Is there a way I can add the depth call out to the metric standard that is self updating via the feature parameters or am I on a fools errand and going to have to do this manually each time?

RE: Editing annotation template

NO. The annotation templates CANNOT be edited by users, at least not with respect to adding any additional items or even changing the existing callouts except to the extent that you can edit the fonts (for example, I've edited a set of templates, which I'm using with NX 8.0, to use TrueType fonts).  What is needed is user definable templates.  May I suggest that you contact GTAC and have them open an ER (Enhancement Request) to that effect.
