Many of our drawings are multiple pages. (11x17) It's nice to have view callouts to reference the views of the drawings. If you're on the phone with a client, you can ask them to look at view number 4 on page 3.
I've created some blocks, and it automatically fills in the scale, view name, and page number, but the view number has me stumped. Unless I include it in the view name, I cannot figure out how to get this to work.
Right now when I change the view number all of the blocks update, obviously. I'm used to autocad, where blocks are independent. SWX blocks are more like autocad xrefs. I'd be ok with manually changing the view numbers, if they would update independently.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

"You can add attribute names to notes in blocks. Attributes are similar to properties in a part, drawing, or assembly.
Attribute name. Select a note in the block. Text appears in this box for notes with attributes imported from AutoCAD. You can type or edit the attribute name in the text field provided.
You can choose for an attribute to be Read only, Invisible, or both. Clear Read only to change the Attribute name for each block instance.
You can edit this attribute/value pair from the Block PropertyManager."

I started over, and now I cannot get the view scale attribute to work. When I'm editing the block it looks fine, it says "1:16" (linked to the SW-View Scale). But then when I insert the block it just says "1".
This is getting aggravating!
