Beginners information to Buildings Engineering

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I am just beginning my career as buildings engineer.  My background is in electrical engineering, hence I am not too familiar with the acronyms and processes involved in this domain.  Could someone please suggest some books or internet links where I can begin to learn about buildings engineering field.  Thank you.

RE: Beginners information to Buildings Engineering

The title of the forum is, indeed, "Building Engineering"; however, it is not intended to be a discussion of building maintenance, which is often called "building engineering".

As for articles on the internet, I'm sure there are plenty of them, if you use the correct search terms.  I would suggest that you contact one of the building maintenance organizations.
