I am able to simulate the solutions by using a displacement-controlled boundary condition, but I want to use an actual concentrated load to the rigid. The two parts are not in contact but they are close enough that the force exerted on the rigid will touch and deform the deformable part, I have been hinted on automatic stabilization and damping, anyone can elaborate on how to do this?

Try applying a small displacement in a step, then switch to load control in a second step, this almost always solves the problem.

Apply one step for displacement control to make contact, followed by a new step containing the load.That's one way but I want an entire force-controlled simulation.
Is there way to have just one step using a load?

You can use stabilization as you mentioned.  Search for stabilization and my name in this forum.

However, why not just move the parts in the assembly until they are touching then run the analysis?

A picture will help with the group's understanding.  I hope this helps.
