measured shield current.

measured shield current.

measured shield current.

(OP)
shield current has been measured at the two ends of a 66 KV power cable.
the route length is 4 KM.layout of cable is flat.the measured currents at each phase are different from their respective values at the other end of the cable(for example 1A compared to 21A or 31A compared to 42A).
is it because of charging current?

RE: measured shield current.

The current at the source end of the cables will be larger than at the load end due to the capacitive charging current.
