RE: Generator overcurrent

Reduce the overcurrent condition that is causing the trip.  Determine why the system is detecting and reacting to an overcurrent.

RE: Generator overcurrent

RE: Generator overcurrent

I'm sorry, but if you are having to resort to the internet for help on something like this that could have severe consequences, you should find a local consultant that can help you out. The solution requires far more knowledge of the specifics of the situation than any of us here will ever have.

RE: Generator overcurrent

the comments in this forum never guarantee to specifically solve your issues but here to provide ideas, wide overviews and insights that the members prefers to. Go on to your OC documentation provided by the OEM else ask the authorize service contractor.

RE: Generator overcurrent

hi
  You could have several scenaries:
First what type of generator: Stamford i assume, or leroy sommer, maybe you get some problem on your Genset.
Maybe you get some problem on your relay...but please let us know how is the situation.
YOu start the motor, syncronize, and take some load... at this moment, do you get the overcurrent? how is the power factor? cause normally you would get this issue if you are not controlling power factor.
