Spring Support

(OP)
I have a model of a bridge that I'm recreating in Abaqus from a Load Test and Rating Report. The report states that they employed linear and rotational springs for the supports; however when I put these in Abaqus with the spring constants specified in the report, I am getting an error. "Too many attempts made for this increment"

Is there any way I can fix this or is there something else I have to add in the BCs in addition to the springs?

Thanks!

RE: Spring Support

Dear grad225,

Today, I send a question similar to your problem. Could you tell to me how do you define a linear or rotational spring in Abaqus? Thank you.

Regards,

Juan José
