Canadian Electrical Code "Secondary Sealing" in Hazardous areas requir

(OP)
My understanding is that this CEC "secondary seal" requirement only has to do with the conduit/cabling/gland system used to connect instrument/electrical devices. We are using armored cable with glands. Does this requirement mean that we need to put a conduit seal (EYS or other type) AND a cable gland on the end of each cable before connecting it to the instrument/electrical device?
Thanks in advance for any help.
