Add base view problem

Add base view problem

Add base view problem

Hi all,

Within drafting, when you go to add a base view what are the views with an asterix next to them? I have the option of TOP,LEFT etc plus *TOP, *LEFT etc

Help appreciated :)

RE: Add base view problem

You're working in Master Model Mode and so when you go to place the Base View, the default behavior is to select one of the existing views in the new Drawing File.  However, the view names shown with an '*' are those views from the original Master Model part file (the part you're making the drawing of).  So unless you've set-up some special views in that original Master Model, you might as well use the views in Drawing file (WITHOUT the '*'), but if you did have some special views, they will be shown with the '*' and you can select one of them instead.
