nx 7.5 posting wrong feeds

nx 7.5 posting wrong feeds

nx 7.5 posting wrong feeds

(OP)
OK I called myself searching the forums but with no luck.
My NX 7.5 is not posting the correct feeds.
example:
M8
S500 M3
Z.1
G81 G99 Z-.195 R.1 F20.
X10.
The above feed should be F9. I have 9 as the feed in the operation.
And it is not just this operation. It is happening in others as well. I did not build either post we are using and I get the same result from both and as I dig further the generic 3 axis post that loaded with NX does the same thing. Anyone have an idea?

RE: nx 7.5 posting wrong feeds

F20 is probably coming from the cycle feed, not the cut feed.

Ok how do I go about changing it so that it looks at the feed in the operation?

I Started a test file with six ops and six diferent tools. Added feeds and speeds then posted. When I posted the test code the speeds and feeds matched the operations.... puzzled I changed feeds posted a second file and the feeds did not update. same result as before.

RE: nx 7.5 posting wrong feeds

You MUST regen drilling op's to get the feed to update.

Now, the status indicator doesn't require you to regen but you have to do it anyways.

Just another NX quirk.
