finding external references

finding external references

Maybe I missed something, but what is the quickest way to find external references in a existing complex sketch, vertex and edges refernces (NX7.5)?

RE: finding external references

I think if you use Show/Remove Constraints with all in active sketch, constraint type = all, include, show constraints = both, should show external references by name such as EDGE1. You can also click the information button and then use edit-> find in the information window.

thanks moudy1,
yes, I knew this function, I was asking because I find the list in show/remove Constraint awfull to use. There is no filter for external refernces. I have sometimes sticky sketch conturs. I can not move them using drag and drop inside the sketch and can not find any fixing reference....
any idea?
thanks

RE: finding external references

Perhaps something has been projected into the sketch. Any such geometry would be 'fixed' and would only move if/when the parents move.

thx cowski on reply,
no projection, funny thing is, removing one dimension working only inside the sketch, I'm able to move the sketch - but the deleted dimension hasn't had an external reference.
