Training material - Books

(OP)
I have read about many books for NX. For example "Basic to Advanced NX7.5 Modeling, Drafting and Assemblies".
Does any of these available for download?

RE: Training material - Books

Due to copyright issues I doubt you can "download" most books, no matter what the topic.  If you're looking for something on line check out CAST or www.myigetit.com

RE: Training material - Books

Hey Sitti, i happen to work for the company the writes the books (see sig) and we are in the process of releasing some ePubs of a few of our books, i know the first in line is the Student Edition NX7.5 book, which is to some degree a mirror of the NX 7.5 book just updated for the student edition of NX.

We are primarily focused on publishing on the ipad so we are probably gonna break our books into parts since the ipad can't handle the amount of media we packed into each page.

Anyways should be within the month so keep your eyes open.

RE: Training material - Books

sitti, a word of warning from a long time user, that has studied 3 of the published books about NX. The only one worth getting at all is Sham Tickoo's book. The other 2 are loaded with bad examples of how to do things. The examples may show their intent, but will lead you down a bad path in the long run. One of the books I read had a title similar to the one you listed. After scouring trhough it, I found it was more of Rudiments to Basics.

RE: Training material - Books

I have also read a book with a title similar to the one you mention. Remove the "to advanced" from the title and you'll be closer to the truth, in my opinion. I didn't find any of the information was in any way inaccurate, just VERY basic. I was expecting much more depth.
