Masonry lintel span tables
Masonry lintel span tables
(OP)
I seem to recall seeing some span tables for load bearing masonry lintels, and I believe the book was issued by MSJC. Can anyone please tell me the name of this design guide so that I can buy it for my office!

Also, the above website will take you to the the TEK manual. Just tell it what state you are in, pick a block mfr, and you should have access to the whole TEK manual

I think the O.P. is referring to masonry lintels and not pre-cast lintels.
It could be because of appearance and continuity the the remainder of the structure.
Even if the lintels a 16" to 48" deep, the principles in the NCMA TEK notes could be used or available upon request because the engineers that write and review the TEKs and have been involved in writing the MSJC standards from day 1.
