In my haste I forgot to add a question mark.

ASTM A 593 was titled, "CVN Testing requirements for Steel Plates for Pressure Vessels". Withdrawn in 1976

Thanks for the quick response,and it makes sense because they show SA203-E with impacts but the way they word it is, SA203-E to SA593-4.  Any idea what the -4 means?

There is an SA 203 Grade E material specification. Perhaps someone was lazy and dropped the Grade for shorthand. I do not have the A/SA 593 specification. My guess is that if the Grade was not referenced in SA 203, the -4 in SA 593 could mean a reference to  CVN test temperature and energy requirements for a grouping of steel plate materials. This is only speculation on my part.
