(OP)
I am determining the size of a utility transformer in KVA for an AC 1500hp drive. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

RE: transformer sizing

Hi, redwine
Your 1500 HP motor could be synchronous or induction motor. If it is induction motor could be wound rotor or squirrel cage rotor.
If it is squirrel cage rotor could be DOL start, VFD or Soft Start starting drive provided.
The transformer will be destined only for this motor supply or could be other consumers connected with?
So, you have to be more specific in order to get a suitable answer.
