Good day folks,

I have a question I am hoping someone can help me with. The attached file shows an isometric of a clevis assembly we are building.

It will have a sideways load of 50 Tonne on it (shear on weld).

I would like to know how to do a weld check on the bottom pin - 90 mm diameter. I realise the analysis of weld groups can get quite complex - particularly with out of plane loadings etc.

Some advice would be much appreciated...
