SIMULATION HELP

SIMULATION HELP

SIMULATION HELP

(OP)
Hello all,

New to the forum and solidworks.

I have designed a drop-gag for a driveline shaft assembly. the system sees a torque of 100Nm and we need this "drop gag to drop into place to stop the shaft from turning.

I have attached the image of the whole assembly and also a PNG of the milled coupling and drop gag piece.

As I have not yet completed my simulation training I am struggling a little with getting some results to see if this component is upto the forces and torques.

couple anyone help me? Much appreciated in advance.

Regards,

J
