Nastran - nonlinear springs

(OP)
So for our model, the springs we have are nonlinear and react differently in tension and compression. We're using SolidWorks/NEiWorks to model and set up analysis, and Nastran for running the analysis. The NEiWorks tech help guy told me that there's no way to specify different values for tension and compression in NEiWorks, but you can in the Nastran bulk data file. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, our spring can only compress 3 inches. Is there any way to add that constraint?
