Database attributes update

Database attributes update

Database attributes update

(OP)
We are running NX7.5 and use the master model approach.  We also have some model defined database attributes linked to the drawing format.  For example the model's database attribute for description automatically populats the drafting title block's description field.  This works great when we start a new part all the way though the drafting stage.  However if I go back to the model and change the database attribute, save the model and then go back to the drawing the fields (description in this example) do not update immediatly.  Sometimes it takes a few minutes, sometimes I need to close and re-open the model/drawing.  So, my question is:  Does anyone know what drives the update and if I can force the update?

Thanks

RE: Database attributes update

What database are you connect to that is driving the attributes?

Have you tried Tools -> Update -> Update for external change?

We are running Team Center 8.0...

Just tried the Tools -> Update -> Update for external change suggestion.  That did not update the drawing decription.
