Weld symbol attachment location

(OP)
In NX6 drafting I'm attempting to attach the leader of a weld symbol to one of my components.  I get the symbol to place but I cannot pick the exact point I'd like to place it (midpoint of a line or intersection of two lines for example)

Also, when I move the view, the weld symbol does not follow.

A little advise/direction please.

Thanks...

RE: Weld symbol attachment location

When you click on "select terminating object" look up to your point menu toolbar and make sure "point on a face" (right icon) is toggled on, then pick where you want the leader to go to - you will be able to select anyplace on that solid and it should be associative.
