(OP)
I am getting an HP Elitebook 8560w to replace my desktop workstation due to XP limitations.  The video card is a NVIDIA Quadro 1000m (2GB), 8GB RAM, i7 processor.  Anyone have any experience with the Quadro 1000m?

RE: HP Elitebook 8560 Workstation

Hi Mike,

This new quadro family graphic card for mid-end segment (notebooks 15.4"). It's better than FX 1800M. 8-10% better performance.  Couple of enhancements: 96 CUDA parallel cores, DirectX v. 11 (as Win 7), shader 5.0, OpenGL 4.1, Optimus technology.
This graphic card is reasonable choice between performance and money. Regular work could be done on this graphic easily.

Hope, this help.
