10 cpm phase AND unsteady, non rotational frequency vibration

10 cpm phase AND unsteady, non rotational frequency vibration

10 cpm phase AND unsteady, non rotational frequency vibration

(OP)
Looks like we need to capture at least 2, and preferably at least 8 channels of simultaneous low frequency (600 cpm down to 10 cpm or so) "vibration" data.
Also, must process it for relative phase and amplitude (etc?) to determine if a mounting flange is yawing or pitching > 1/8 degree.

Any suggestions?

thanks,

Dan T

RE: 10 cpm phase AND unsteady, non rotational frequency vibration

Hi Tmoose,

Are you dealing with a speed that varies from 600 down to 10 RPM and you need to know the phase relationships over the entire range?  Or, is it a fixed speed machine and that is the frequency range of interest?  If the latter is true do you have a single dominant frequency in that range?  Are you really looking for phase resolution better than 1/8 of a degree between channels?  I guess I really don't understand the scope of the project.
