steel concrete formwork to receive tiling

steel concrete formwork to receive tiling

(OP)
We have been working with steel formwork for concrete surfaces to receive tiling with a rendered background.

When comparing the strength of the render to steel formed concrete and timber formed concrete the latter is tops.

Is there any technique which can be used to improve the cohesiveness of the tiles to steel formed concrete?  (Not including spatterdash).

RE: steel concrete formwork to receive tiling

This may be due to the higher w/c (water/cement) ratio remainded in the former material which can provide less strength development, and the latter privide quickly hardening and strength development.

Why not adjust the workable w/c ratio or use quick hardening cement or aluminium sulfated cement?

Any questions, please contact qinghan.bian@3web.net
