Hi,

I've been through the archives trying to figure out how to bring a logo into the titleblock.

I have tried *.ai  *.dxf  versions and can't get much more than garbage when I try to bring in the logo.

If someone can help me out here I would greatly appreciate it.  I have attached the black and white logo in BMP and AI formats. The conversion to DXF was giving me garbage in Corel.

BTW, I am working in Wildfire 4.0

Thank you,
Glenn

RE: Logo into drawing titleblock

I have had some experience with working with company formats and the logo we use here (prior to rebranding) was a rather long name with a custom font that was turned into curves and splines.  Importing that into Pro|E was a pain.  What I ended up doing for the format was re-create the frame for the template (exported the current one as a DXF) in another software that had a decent sketching feature (in my case, DraftSight) where I was able to more easily add and position the logo, then I imported it back to the format and made sure all the rest of the information in the template still lined up appropriately.

Of note: when you do this, make sure that you export as a 2004 or earlier DXF and do the same when you save it in another software.  For some reason, WF4 and WF5 cannot handle v2007 DXF files.

Thanks for the reply Larry.  I'll see what I can do. :)
