Hollow/Ghost font in solidworks?

Hollow/Ghost font in solidworks?

Hollow/Ghost font in solidworks?

(OP)
Looking for a way to make text over a drawing like "obsolete" or whatever in a font that is large but wont cover what is under it. Is there a font or someway to do this? Thanks

RE: Hollow/Ghost font in solidworks?

I always print to adobe (*.pdf) - file format - and I have special stamps in adobe I use.  The reason why Adobe - just about every customer, supplier has access to this file format.

RE: Hollow/Ghost font in solidworks?

If you create the note in Word, then RMB over it and go to font...

Check the box for outline (2nd from the top, middle column on my machine)

Then, highlight the text, copy, go to solidworks, paste

TaDa!
