Hi, Could anybody help me with a calculation of stress concentration on a hole. There is a heli Triangular canopy with one hole in evry corner. Hole diameter are increased from 9.5mm to 11mm. Edge distance are known, how to calculate the stress concentration on the hole??

RE: Aeronautics

peterson of course is the reference of choice.

does the canopy react pressure ?  (don't think so)

does it react flight loads ? (don't think so)

difficult to see what fatigue calc (or any stress calc) you can do.

RE: Aeronautics

MeImran,

Could you post your document as a .pdf or other neutral format?  I'm one of probably many people who avoid opening Word ".doc"'s from unknown sources.
