Amplitude

Amplitude

Amplitude

(OP)
Hello,

i have a pressure that I am applying it by an amplitude curve defined over total time. Than I introduce in the second step another pressure which is without amplitude. There is no relation between those two pressures. I do not have convergency and I believe that is because I have the amplitude defined over total time.

I have defined like that because I wanted abaqus to take in consideration the deformations from the previous step.

Can someone explain to me what happens with the amplitude if it is defined over total time?

Thank you

RE: Amplitude

mmmm.. Is the second pressure applied to the same elements as the pressure defined by the amplitude? You can, as you probably know, choose between TOTAL time and STEP time.
