What Standards are applicable to Sugar Silo design in Australia?

What Standards are applicable to Sugar Silo design in Australia?

(OP)
I am involved with an Australian client who has engaged a company that is designing, fabricating and constructing a stainless steel 90t granular sugar silo for them.

Can someone advised what Australian standards are applicable to such a stainless steel sugar silo design?

I am aware of AS/NZS 4745:2004 "Code of practice for handling combustible dusts", however this does not have much at all on design standards.

Regards,

Obie

RE: What Standards are applicable to Sugar Silo design in Australia?

okok I should get with the times.

AS4100 and AS4600 should also be consulted they are the lastest of the steel and cold formed standards.
