weight in parts list problem

weight in parts list problem

weight in parts list problem

(OP)
I have a weight column in my assembly parts list.
I am working on a very large machine where the weights of the components are listed with no digits to the right of the decimal place.
Most of the components parts are very large, but there are some that are small (washers etc) and have a "zero" weight, because the number that it rounds off to is less than 1 kilogram.
When the weight of the component is "zero" I would like a dash to appear in that cell, but I can't make that dash appear in most of the cells even though that option is available to me, so the weight appears as a zero. I can make the weight show up as a dash in the weight cell only for item 1, but that's all. The other cells in the weight column show the dash toggled, but still shows as a zero.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what could be going wrong here. I looked into just about everything I could, except the "right" thing.
I am on NX6.
