ASME Welder (P.NO) Qualification

(OP)

I have to certify my welders for fillet weld,
test plates are SS 304 to SS 304 (P.No:8) filler material is E308L 16 (F.No:5) and position is 3F and 4F, thickness is 10mm, process is SMAW, Backing (no),
What Ranage Qualifeds must be to write down certificate?

Another question, according to this certificate (after the certificate prepared) my welders can weld 409 to 409 which P.No:7, filler material is 309L-16 (F.No:5) ???
But I think that is the problem WPS datas, 304 to 304 and filler metal is E308L.

Thanks in advance for your helps,

RE: ASME Welder (P.NO) Qualification

If you are qualifying welders to ASME B&PV Code, Section IX, you must read QW-303.2. Also, please review QW-452.5.

There is too much information to list. Also, you need to understand this information if you are qualifying welders.
