3D CROSS SECTION

3D CROSS SECTION

3D CROSS SECTION

(OP)
How do you create a 3d cross section in a drawing, i.e. a view that is ISO. I have failed so far and the only way I can think to do it is to create a cut through half of the part, and blank it off in other views, this is messy and has the potential for disaster!

RE: 3D CROSS SECTION

Hi,

Use OFFSET option instead of PLANAR when you create the cross section. This option works only in part/assembly mode and not in drawing mode.
