steam turbine control descriptive names?
(OP)
I am only familiar with only one OEM and the nomenclature they used to discribe things (pre digital also). I have an interesting discription that is currently being used by another company. the control function performed by the digital processor that I would call the "speed load governor" is being called "turbine fuel control."
I have asked if they were confusing with combustion turbine, but they say this is use to discribe steam turbine speed load governor. Does any one else use this phrase?

RE: steam turbine control descriptive names?
Seems a little odd - is the manufacturer from an English-speaking nation or is it perhaps a poor translation which has become lodged in the OEM manuals 'forever'?
